The red wine Castello di Brolio Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Ricasoli has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Light, dense ruby red colour. Enchanting nose with sweet fruit of candied oranges, black cherry, followed by cinnamon, vanilla and cardamom: very complex. A full-bodied palate with a rich fruit core and silky tannins, complex and deep through to the long and successful finish.
