The red wine Manus Lagrein Riserva Südtirol DOP, vintage 2016 from the winery Ritterhof Weingut-Tenuta has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Deep, rich purple. Opens with subtle smoky notes on the nose, almost mineral, ripe wild berries, blackcurrants, coffee grounds. Shows a lot of black berry fruit on the palate, supple and with tightly woven tannins, good harmony, balanced and round, lingers long with fine spice on the finish.
