Tasting Notes
An aroma that shows traditional Pinot Noir motifs (almond, red currant, a hint of ageing patina) with beautiful, accessible clarity. Classic on the palate too, with mellow tannins, plenty of juiciness and an acidity that harmonises very well with the fruit and body. Solid craftsmanship.
More about the tastingFragrant and clear, a very tidy traditional "German" PINOT Noir nose: almond, some milk chocolate, redcurrant. Lots of juiciness on the palate, restrained, rather soft, yet very slightly tannic, well-integrated acidity, a pleasant snack wine, with Black Forest ham or grilled sausage.
