Tasting Notes
Wild cherry, leather, blueberry, nougat, raisin, red currant and floral notes all on the nose - a complex bouquet. A soft attack shows good volume, with a supple base, well integrated alcohol and fine acidity. The tannin starts mildly and increases slowly on the palate, but remains fine and without astringency. There's lots of juiciness and a pointedly mineral edge on the finish. Already accessible, with further ageing potential.
