The red wine Sergioveto Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Rocca delle Macìe - Famiglia Zingarelli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese
It has a bright ruby red colour. On the nose there are aromas of plum and amarena cherry, plus elderberry, and mint, and there is a faint reminiscence of red baked apple. On the palate it is juicy, bright, unfolding across the tongue with great interplay and lots of tension. It is slightly salty, and it has finesse and a long finish.
