Deep dark, rich ruby with a tendency to black. On the nose first of black bread, then of old wood, cold smoke, blackcurrants, sugared violets. Very substantial and dense on the palate, with tight, punchy tannins and clear fruit, long and tense, currently still bold, put away and enjoy in a few years.
