The red wine Barbicone Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Azienda Agricola Russo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino, Pugnitello from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, rich ruby red. Open-hearted and inviting nose of fresh raspberries and wild strawberries, very floral and delicate. Balanced on the palate, opens on ripe blackcurrants, dense tannin envelops the clear fruit, harmonious attack and finish.
