The red wine Saget La Perrière Sancerre Sacrilège, vintage 2016 from the winery Saget La Perriere has been rated in 2021 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Loire Valley in France.
These is a subdued but almost confected sense of red cherry on the shy nose. That cherry becomes fully fleshed on the palate where it has some sonorous support from oak as well as some extracted tannin. This is bold, red-fruited and fresh.
