Deep carmine in colour with ochre reflections, and a broad and bright rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of sea buckthorn, sloe, prune, marzipan, some vanilla and fine oak. The palate is complex, powerful, and delicately spicy, with cherry compote, a little maraschino, ripe, supporting tannins, dark minerality, and a very long finish. Has ageing potential, the essence of Croatia's true Grand Cru.
