The red wine Le Viti del 1976 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery San Felice Toscana A.D. 714 has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red. Noble ripe tones on the nose, dried plum, molasses, lovage, notes of rust and hot stone, reminiscent of dried tomatoes and a hint of milk chocolate in the echo. Ripe fruit on the palate, embedded in grippy tannins, elegant notes of old varnish and iron, very compact and layered. Best decanted before drinking.
