The red wine Lampo Morellino di Scansano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery San Felo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Delicately shiny garnet with dark reflections. A fine aroma of small ripe blueberries, dried plums, paired with pleasant roasted aromas, fresh bread crust. Flattering on the palate, with interwoven tannins, builds up in layers, appears compact and shows taut traits that carry through to the finish.
