The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery San Filippo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with a fine garnet rim. Open, appealing nose with notes of pickled cherries, some peach and saffron. Unfortunately on the palate broad and overripe notes, dries up completely in the course.
