The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Le Lucere DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery San Filippo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shiny ruby with rich garnet. Very intense nose of dried mushrooms, rosehip jelly, plus lots of pickled cherries. Round and powerful in the beginning, but then becomes increasingly loosely knit, much alcohol, coffee grounds on the finish.
