The red wine Miluna Primitivo di Manduria Riserva DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery San Marzano Vini has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Not the usual berry assault of a Primitivo, rather black cherry, leathery wood, overtones of blackberry and maquis. In the mouth tremendous extract, substantial, fleshy, yet fruit-bearing, the large volume is playfully filled with content, freshness and fine acidic nerve is also there - the highest quality vintage, very well made.
