Deep dark ruby garnet colour with opaque core, purple reflections, very delicate brightening on the rim. Fine dried fruit nuances, a hint of figs and cocoa, candied orange zest, some nougat. Full-bodied, elegant, ripe heart cherries and plums, vivid tannins, persistent, appears well-balanced, spicy and cedary nuances on the finish, slightly peppery in the aftertaste, has good ageing potential.
