Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Gentle smokiness underlays black forest berry flavours, fine nuances of cassis and liquorice, an attractive bouquet. Complex palate, pronounced fruit, ripe black cherry, good tannins, fine chocolate touch, already gluggable. It is a good persistent food wine, with definite ageing potential.
