On the nose, floral notes, hollyhock blossom and elderflower, a slate-like savouriness and hints of yellow stone fruit. A compact and intense Riesling, with good extract, supporting acidity, slightly tart fruit, a slate-like spiciness and fine-grained phenolics. A dry, expressive style.
