Tasting from 04.11.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, deep ruby, light purple sheen. Opens with emphatic earthy notes of beet and rust, behind that lots of blackberry and black truffle. Lots of dark berry fruit, unfortunately also lots of pithy tannin that becomes very brittle on the back end, drying the finish.
