Subtly cloudy, golden yellow with amber reflections. Intense nose of kumquat, orange jelly, rose and lychee, with spicy notes. Oily texture on the palate, but much more restrained than the nose would suggest. Moderately fresh, rather mild acidity, the alcohol (13%) has a slightly warming effect. Overall aromatic, but somewhat muted in expression.
