The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Tenuta Abbadia Vecchia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red. Nose of milk coffee, barley malt, cedar wood, subtle red berry fruit on the finish. Slightly vegetal tannins on the palate, good juiciness in the mid-palate, but drying on the finish, still very young.
