Deep, dark ruby red. Slightly vegetal on the nose, with notes of fresh raspberries, a subtle hint of blood, smoke and leather. On the palate, pronounced fruit, enrobed in quite loosely knit tannins, vivid and grippy, with an emphatically juicy finish, but then somewhat drying at the end.
