The red wine I Bastioni Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta Collazzi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Clear ruby with a dense rim. On the nose, opens with lots of sweet berry fruit, strawberry and raspberry with a touch of violet. On the palate, initially lots of juicy fruit, but then unfortunately completely collapses with grippy, coarse tannin, a harshness and sweet raspberry candy notes on the finish.
