The red wine Ammiraglia Syrah, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta dell’Ammiraglia has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, impenetrable ruby-purple. Opens with notes of dark rose petals, lots of liquorice, then rich elderberries, dark chocolate in the background. Present, juicy fruit at the beginning and over the course of the palate, full-bodied, hearty tannins, fine spicy notes on the finish. A mouthful of wine!
