It has a radiant dark ruby red colour, with a touch of purple. On the nose there is an initial aroma of violet blossom, as well as b bitter almond, rich cherry, delicate nuances of cranberry, vanilla sugar, and rum-steeped fruit. It is very round and supple on the palate, unfolding over the tongue like a velvety robe. It has plenty of power and structure on the finish, with good length and drive.
