The red wine Nero Ossidiana Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta di Castellaro has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corinto nero, Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Dark ruby red with garnet reflections. Intense aroma of raspberries, cherries and strawberries, spice paired with leather and tobacco leaf as well as a hint of coffee. On the palate, very clear fruit underpinned with animating freshness and grippy tannins, ending with savouriness.
