The Red Wine Moscamento 1911 Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta di Fessina has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, flinty ruby red with lightly brightening edges. The nose shows fine wood, fumé and some resinous notes, with milk chocolate richness. On the palate there's densely woven tannins and a grippy palate full of tension. A juicy undertone shows, then it's somewhat bold on the finish.
