Bright, intense ruby colour with a garnet shimmer. A very clear, intense nose with lots of dark currants, then elderberries and kitchen garden herbs. Polished and clear on the palate, with multi-layered, dense and rich tannins underpinning lots of juicy fruit. Plenty of tobacco on the finish.
