Brilliant, rich ruby colour with a purple rim. Opens on the nose with fine roasted notes of roasted hazelnut and roasted chestnut, followed by fresh dark berry fruit. Very rich and supple on the palate, showing plenty of ripe elderberry, unfolds with supple tannins, long finish.
