The red wine Campicaia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta di Vignole has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon
It has a brilliant dark ruby red colour. There are aromas of cherry cordial, liquorice and wild berry, underpinned by a delicate leather note, with subtle herbal nuances on the finish. On the palate it is full-bodied, with nice fruit, showing good density, and tight powerful tannins. It is an expressive representative of its region.
