The red wine Bricco Roche Nizza Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta il Falchetto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark ruby red with brightening edges. Oxidative expression on the nose, reminiscent of dried violets and berries, some light tobacco and mint. Ripe and fruity on the palate, shows finely-meshed tannins and good texture, lacks a little tension, dominated by the use of wood in the lingering finish.
