The red wine Ficaie Morellino di Scansano DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Tenuta Il Quinto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dense ruby red with purple edges. Intense aroma of sour cherry, black bread, mint, liquorice and blackberry. Shows clear berry fruit on the palate, animating freshness and dense tannin, which is currently still drying out a little, with a lingering finish of wild berries.
