The red wine Barolo DOCG Sant'Anna MGA, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta L’Illuminata has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Transparent, bright brick red with orange reflections. On the nose, pronounced aromas of ripe wild berries, ripe redcurrant, some wet stone, forest floor and sweet savouriness. Powerful on the palate, broad, shows a certain smoothness, somewhat coarse-grained, finishes quite savoury and somewhat drying.
