Clear, intense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Clear and precise nose, rich dark currants, cassis liqueur and blackberries, some dark chocolate. Round and rich on the attack, lots of ripe berry fruit, opens with plenty of fine-mesh tannin, fine texture, firm drive on the finish.
