The red wine Poderalta Riserva Maremma Toscana DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Sassoregale has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A dark garnet colour with cherry red accents. Notes of black elderberry and rich plums, sharp notes of spices, some black pepper and mocha. Compact on the palate, a firm structure, with a juicy core, lots of momentum, youthful, with tightly meshed tannins, not too overdone on the finish, on the right track.
