The red wine Poderalta Riserva Maremma Toscana DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Sassoregale has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby core with garnet red rim. Dark plum nose underpinned by notes of subsoil, cold smoke and coffee beans. Stretches nicely across the palate, combined with fresh acidity, broad tannins and prominent wood notes, persistent on the finish.
