The red wine Scipio Toscana IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Sette Cieli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby. Opens in the nose with nuances of truffle, then rich cassis, elderberry, fine spice towards the end. On the palate taut with juicy-grainy tannin, stretches beautifully over the tongue, savoury, currently still slightly drying towards the end, will benefit from bottle ageing.
