The red wine Scipio Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Sette Cieli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby with a garnet rim. Elegant nose with notes of fine spices, black currant, mocha and thyme notes. On the palate, intense and balanced, with tightly woven, still young tannins, well integrated oak, powerful right up to the long finish with bright fruit notes. Nice ageing potential.
