The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta Valdipiatta has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a brightening rim. Not quite precise on the nose, initially honey, then rich cherries, then silicone again, honey again on the finish. Crisp and juicy on the palate, with a texture arc across the tongue and an elegant finish.
