Brilliant, intense ruby with a slightly pale rim. Opens with notes of dark chocolate, some cinnamon, then plum and blackberry, surprisingly dense. Has tension and juice on the palate, lots of fresh cherry fruit, grippy, fine-meshed tannins, long finish.
