It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red. On the nose, initially fine earthy tones, then rubbed currants, salted caramel, some dried fig and candle wax. On the palate, a nice juiciness and pithy, earthy tannins. It shows dark-berry fruit, plus lots of creamy texture. Currently still a bit drying on the finish.
