The red wine Clos degli Amodeo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenute Donna Olga has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Impenetrable ruby purple. Presents itself with notes of wild berries and blackberries, multi-layered savoury aromas and a slight hint of hay in the finish. Shows clear, red fruit on the palate, juicy, grippy tannins and full-bodied aftertaste, unfortunately a little flabby and tired in the finish.
