The red wine Punta Aquila Primitivo Salento IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenute Rubino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Brightening garnet. Fine-smelling and slightly spicy nose of pepper and ivy, minimally vegetal, then of red currants and strawberries, in the echo slightly earthy tones. At the palate red-fruity and spicy accompanied by grippy tannin, still very young, of medium structure, on the finish juicy and clear, delicate after-drying.
