The red wine Contrada Blandano Etna Rosso Riserva DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Terra Costantino has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, shimmering ruby with brick coloured accents. Aromas of ripe plum, fig, some chervil and cold tea on the nose, with a fleshy finish. Shows much more fruit on the palate, fine, full-bodied tannins alternating with filigree acidity, animating and clear, cool, compact finish.
