The red wine Essenze Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Terre da Vino has been rated in 2012 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, shiny ruby with a slight garnet rim. Very fragrant and intense nose of licorice, hazelnuts and preserved cherries. Juicy and clear on the attack and on the palate, opens with lots of present, ripe fruit, then shows dense tannins, floats along, firm pressure on the finish.
