Intense dark ruby purple with a brightening rim. Very intense nose of cinnamon stick, liquorice, preserved cherries and blackberries, as well as dried plums. Surprisingly fresh on the palate, with fruit and a noticeable use of wood, which appears somewhat youthful on the finish.
