The red wine Arcano Aglianico del Sannio Riserva DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Terre Stregate has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. Ripe wild berries on the nose, cinnamon stick aromas, also a touch of blackberry confit and dried fig, as well as precious wood. Present on the palate, with a clear wood flavour, the fruit holds its own, overall still very young, somewhat drying on the finish, has ageing potential.
