It has a brilliant dark ruby red colour. There are strong beautifully crafted fruit aromas on the nose, with raspberry and elderberry, rich plum, as well as a hint of liquorice, and violet blossom. It is full and juicy on the palate, with a great structure and vivid fruit. It is a well-rounded and harmonious wine, with nice persistence, and it is drinking beautifully now.
