Strong ruby, dark core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe cherry fruit with a bouquet of Provençal herbs such as bay leaf and thyme, fine nuances of plums, damp undergrowth, subtle balsamic nuances of dried porcini mushrooms, dark minerality. Complex, dark berry fruit, firm tannins that replace a fresh acidity, powerful and earthy at the same time, spicy nuances on the finish, convincing length, has definite ageing potential.
