Gently shimmering, dark ruby colour with garnet-red nuances. Pronounced on the nose, with notes of sweet cherry, bay leaf and thyme, mocha and dark chocolate. Lots of sweet fruit on the palate, with gripping tannins and supporting acidity, persistent.
