Elegant, bright ruby red with a brightening rim. Dried herbs, ripe cherries, fruitcake and plums on the nose, with a hint of sealing wax as well as some fine leathery aromas. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, it's broad and with a pronounced minerality, and a somewhat rough tannic finish.
